  • The NDIS, or National Disability Insurance Scheme, is an Australian government program designed to support people with disabilities. It provides funding for a range of services and supports to help individuals with disabilities achieve their goals, participate in the community, and improve their quality of life.

The NDIS offers personalised support based on each person's needs, which can include assistance with daily living activities, therapy, equipment, and other services. It aims to give people with disabilities more control and choice over the support they receive and to provide a more flexible and tailored approach compared to previous disability support systems.

The scheme is managed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), which assesses eligibility and helps plan and manage individual support packages.
